Greetings, Adventurer!
This is the Black Desert Mobile Service Team.
As previously mentioned in the Feb 11 (Tue) Patch Notes and Early Update Notice,
after the update maintenance on Mar 4 (Tue), you will no longer be able to
create new accounts or link guest accounts to Facebook.
If you have been playing the game with an account created via Facebook,
a feature will be added to allow you to change the link to Google, Apple, and LINE accounts.
This change is being made to provide a more stable gaming environment for Adventurers
due to ongoing issues with unstable connections on the Facebook platform.
Please read below for details.
Facebook Account Link Information
After the update maintenance on Mar 4 (Tue), Facebook accounts will be handled as follows:
- Cannot create new accounts via Facebook.
- Cannot link guest accounts via Facebook.
- If you have created or linked an account to Facebook before the update maintenance on Mar 4 (Tue), you can personally change the link to a Google, Apple, or LINE account.
After the update maintenance on Mar 25 (Tue), Facebook linked accounts cannot access the game until the link is changed to either a Google, Apple, or LINE account.
- Adventurers using Facebook accounts are advised to link with either a Google, Apple, or LINE account before this date.
※ Please proceed with caution when changing your account link as it cannot be changed once you complete the link change from Facebook to another account.
How to link your account
1. Log in to the game with your Facebook account.
2. On the Select Server screen, tap the Facebook button at the top right.
3. Choose a new platform to link: Google, Apple, or LINE.
※ Note: Account link cannot be changed once you complete the link change.
You will be logged out once your account has been linked with either a Google, Apple, or LINE account.
Log in again with the newly linked account to continue playing the game.

Q. Until when do I have to change my Facebook account link?
A. There is no deadline for the change. However, after the update maintenance on Mar 25 (Tue), you will no longer be able to access the game with a Facebook account.
You must link it with another account to continue playing.
For a smooth gaming experience, we recommend changing the link before this date.
If there are any changes or limitations to the period for making this change, we will notify you in advance through a notice.
Q. While changing my account link, it says "Selected account is already linked with a family. Please select another account." What do I do?
A. The account you want to change to is already linked with a family.
Please select either a Google, Apple, or LINE account that has not been used to create a BDM account, as only one family can be linked to an account.
Please note that once you complete the link change, it cannot be changed again.
Q. I deleted the family linked to the account after seeing "Selected account is already linked with a family. Please select another account", but could not change the link right after. How long do I need to wait until I can link to that account?
A. It takes 7 days to unregister your account after the request has been made.
If you wish to link to the unregistered account, please wait until the process has been completed.
We advise you to complete this process before the notified date as you cannot access the game via a Facebook account after the update maintenance on Mar 25 (Tue) and it takes time to unregister an account.
Q. I changed my Facebook account to the wrong Google account.
A. It is difficult to change a family to another SNS account once it has been linked.
※ Please proceed with caution when changing your account link as it cannot be changed once you complete the link change from Facebook to another account.
Q. I am being told to create a new family after changing the link.
A. If you log in with an SNS account that is not the linked account, a screen prompting you to create a new family will appear.
Please double-check that you are logging in with the linked account.
