Developer Commentary:
Altinova has been the midpoint connecting the west and east of the continent. News has arrived that a trade route to the east has finally opened.
Although the road to Valencia City is not yet connected, merchants are busily moving from Barhan Gateway, which leads to the Great Desert, to Shakatu's Camp, where the wealthy Shakatu resides.
With the opening of the trade route to the east, news has also arrived from the Camp. Workers, who have been honing their skills for the adventurer, the Camp's lord, have crafted new wagons and developed new parts to enhance performance.
The workers have also completed preparations for their move to Valencia, regardless of its harsh climate, at the Adventurer's command.
Oh, and be sure to look for the Wandering Merchant when he appears. He might bring new goods that suit the new trade route.
- Added new Valencia regions to Merchantry.
ㆍ Reset the Daily Food Supply and the daily Dispatch limit with the addition of new zones.
ㆍ You can move from the right gate in Altinova of South Mediah to get to West Valencia.
ㆍ You can move your Camp to West Valencia or North Valencia.

- Connect the Dream Horse Doom to a Merchantry wagon to Quantum Jump from one town to another.
ㆍ You can use it after entering Merchantry and arriving at the next town.
ㆍ It can only be used to move to a town of a region adjacent to the current region.
ㆍ It can be used only once per day.
ㆍ E.g. If you are in Velia of Balenos, you can Quantum Jump to a town in the adjacent zones of Serendia or North Mediah.
- Expanded the max Merchantry level to 120.
ㆍ Increased the Daily Food Supply limit according to the Merchantry level expansion.
- Added 2 types of new wagons available for use in Merchantry.

Improvements
Content Schedule
Developer Commentary:
We adjusted the content schedule to alleviate the increasing burden with added content from updates in Black Desert Mobile.
First, the content schedule for Night of Vengeful Souls, previously held on Monday at 20:20, was adjusted to Wednesday at 20:20 to facilitate usage of the Black Rock Shrine after defeating Tukar Laytenn on Mondays.
Also, we decreased the weekly limit for Battlefield of the Sun and Black Sun and increased the amount of rewards, to allow the same level of rewards with shorter playtime to be obtained.
As we mentioned in the Heidel Ball, with this content schedule adjustment, some of you may not be able to participate in certain content, which is why we tried to maintain the previous schedule as much as possible. However, we hope you understand that the adjustment may not be the most optimal for all of you.
We will continue to make improvements for the most optimal experience for in-game content.

- Changed schedules on the content timetable.
- Maintained the resources spent for entering the Battlefield of the Sun and doubled the victory rewards.
- Decreased the weekly victory reward limit for the Battlefield of the Sun from 3 times to 2 times.
- Changed the victory reward for 2 wins for a single win and the victory reward for 3 wins for 2 wins.
- Doubled the rewards obtained through Spoils of Battle for Black Sun.
- Doubled the rank rewards obtained upon defeating Laytenn that spawns in the Black Sun.
- Doubled the daily score rewards for Black Sun.
- The schedule change for Co-op Rush will be applied in the future. (Updated on 8/16)
Battlefield of the Sun: Forgotten Ruins
- Added navigation to display when tapping the Fortress icon on the upper central part of the screen.
- Changed the icons on the minimap, status, and death UIs to make it possible to distinguish each Fortress.
- Changed certain methods of obtaining Contribution.

ㆍ Badakka Outfit Chests and the Badakka Ornaments in non-chest form cannot be registered on the Market.
- [Encarotia's Skein] can be exchanged for the Badakka Outfit of your choice at Encarotia's Boutique.
- Unused Encarotia's Skeins will be deleted during the update maintenance on Sep 9 (Tue).

- Changed the video played while data is being downloaded after logging in to the game.
UI
- Changed the item tooltip window to indicate class availability when tapping the class icon.
- Improved the Guild menu to display the current week's content instead of the following week's content when tapping the Node Conquer Perks icon.

Character
- Fixed an issue where "Super Armor" would be interrupted for certain classes during a skill.
- Fixed an issue where the debuff of the initially selected skill in the skill preview would appear to not apply.
- [Titan] Fixed an issue where the character could not combo "Lava Piercer" with other skills in certain situations.
- [Spiritwalker] Fixed an issue where "Heavenly Harmony" would continue to apply after revival upon use of a "Dance" skill based on the skill data remaining from before death.
- [Scholar] Fixed an issue where certain weapon appearances would not display when turning off the Weapon (Town) option.
- [Destroyer] Fixed an issue where the character would not use "Tectonic Rift" during auto-combat even when it could be used.
- [Spiritwalker] Fixed an issue where the character would fail to perform an additional move with "Leaping Tiger" if she had less than 30 MP.
- Fixed an issue where zooming in on certain classes in monster zones would enlarge body parts other than the face.

- Fixed an issue where level 1 upgrade would apply for the Holy Artifact, Barricade, and other objects in Siege/Node War under certain circumstances.
- Fixed an issue where some UI elements did not function properly when accessing the game on certain AOS devices and using Customer Support Center, Beauty Album, and more.
- Fixed an issue where Seric's Sword would appear in a different location after destroying the Sealed Sword in front of the Calpheon Faction in Battlefield of the Sun: Forgotten Ruins.
- Fixed an issue where some monsters from Night of Vengeful Souls would appear on trees.
- Fixed an issue where buff effects were not being summed in the Bonus Effects section of the My Info screen.
UI
- Fixed an issue where certain text would not display correctly in the Fairy Skill Info/Equip Skill menus.
- Fixed an issue where the details provided by the Black Spirit in speech bubbles, such as Great Desert Excavation Goods, would not be displayed after returning from Sleep Mode.

- Crafting recipes for the Treasure materials [Ancient Seed] and [Cipher of Light] will be added with the update maintenance on Aug 20 (Tue).
ㆍ Ancient Seed can be exchanged for [Intact Ancient Guardian's Core] x25 obtained at a certain chance by defeating monsters in the Great Desert "Hystria" zone.
ㆍ [Cipher of Light] can be exchanged for [Magicbound Sand] obtained at a certain chance by defeating "Ancient Kutum" in Alyaelli's Rift.
ㆍ No additional measures will be taken regarding the Great Desert exploration time and Ancient Kutum entries.
