Greetings, Adventurers!

This is the Black Desert Mobile Dev team! Time has flown since we announced the 2020 Roadmap back in early December.

We thank you for your continued support and love from day one. Our team is working around the clock as we speak to bring more exciting contents to our Adventurers.

In this edition of the Dev Notes, we will discuss upcoming contents, improvements, and other changes that will happen in 2020 1Q.

■ Overall Ranking System

Our current ranking system only showed your rank per Tier from set brackets. The newly implemented overall ranking system will now be classified into specific groups. Being placed in these groups will grant new special Titles for players. 

The top players will be ranked based on their position from the top in the Ranking and Knight and Mercenary will include players in the top percentage in the rankings. 

Also, this new system will calculate ranks from all servers within your region so you will now be able to compare your rank against all other Adventurers in your region! 

※ Please note that all ranks that can be seen in the previous system such as CP, Arena and Life Skills will now all be calculated from across the region.

■ Node War Times

After receiving your continuous feedback regarding Node War times, we have contemplated on a reasonable solution. Although we cannot share all the specifics just yet, Node War will soon change to the following: nodes will have different times set for Node Wars. 

This means that your Guild can choose a Node for Node War that suits the time that you and Your Guild members desire. Things are still in the works and the fine details are still being worked but this will give more flexibility to people from various regions. We will have more updates and details soon.

■ Portuguese Language Support

We know that there are probably some Adventurers waiting with bated breath for the addition of Portuguese support for Black Desert Mobile ever since our previous announcement. We would love to take this chance to let you know that preparations are on track and we will be able to start supporting Portuguese in March. We may even be able to show you some Portuguese in-game sneak peeks in a few weeks!

■ Black Pearls

Black Pearls are useful throughout your adventures in Black Desert Mobile. Some Adventurers may have felt that there were only a limited number of ways to earn Black Pearls. We are constantly pondering on how to balance this so that you will have an enjoyable gaming experience and are in the process of developing a system so that you will find it much easier to gain Black Pearls to use on your adventures. We hope to announce more details once things have progressed to a presentable state. 

Before we sign off we would like to mention that a new World Boss, new Map, level cap increase and more, all mentioned in the 2020 roadmap, are on their way for the first quarter of 2020. We hope to see you again in the near future!
