Greetings, Adventurers!

The Patch Notes for the update on May 10 (Tuesday) are here!
In this update, we’ve added new content, events, bug fixes, and overall improvements to the game.
See below for more details about this update.

■ West & North Valencia



Developer's Comments:
Hadum's Realm unlocks for adventurers that have completed Mediah main quests during their journey.
Hadum's Realm differs from Elion's Realm in rewards and provides great opportunities for growth.

However, after analyzing our data, we have realized that many Adventurers faced a dilemma when Hadum's Realm unlocks.

The main quest guides Adventurers to reach Valencia in Elion's Realm, but Hadum's Realm in the same area had much higher CP requirements, forcing Adventurers to go back to the regions they have already been to. The discrepancy between two realms was an inconvenience to most Adventurers.

So we have made some improvements so Adventurers can enjoy the main quests and also take advantage of the benefits from Hadum's Realm.
Now, we have implemented Chaos into West & North Valencia.

We hope Chaos being spread all over Valencia becomes an opportunity for all Adventurers to experience Hadum's Realm in a more natural way.

- West & North Valencia are now Chaos Zones.
- The recommended CP of these areas will be matched to the previous Elion's recommended CP.
- When Blessings of Light are being applied, Hadum Loot can be obtained from Spoils of Battle.
ㆍDespite changing to Chaos Zones, the rewards will be the same as the rewards obtained from Hadum's Realm before the update.
- Hadum Knowledge EXP can be obtained by defeating monsters in this area.

 

■ Archer

Developer's Comments:
Archer showed a low win rate for smaller PvP content, according to internal data.
Archer was also chosen the least among high-ranking adventurers.

We could see that it was difficult to react or maintain distance from approaching enemies.
This was the reason it could not show its strength as a ranged class.

So, we have increased the damage of the main skills so that it does not lack in performance compared to other classes.
We also enhanced the movement effect of skills to make Archer better able to maintain distance or dodge against approaching enemies.



▷ Concentrated Blast
- Skill's PvP damage has increased.

Lv 1: 345.36% x 4 → 405.69% x 4 
Lv 10: 448.97% x 4 → 527.4% x 4 



▷ Radiant Barrage
- Improved so that it can attack when holding the move button.
- Improved so that it can be linked smoothly with running.



▷ Fend Off
- Improved so that it can attack facing the opponent.
- Improved so that it can be linked smoothly with running.



▷ Luminous Barrage
- Skill's PvE, PvP damage have increased.

▷ Bolt Storm
- Skill's moves have changed.
- Improved so that it can be linked smoothly with running.
- "Super Armor" has changed to "Invincibility during jump", "Super Armor during Attack" when using the skill.
Skill's PvE, PvP damage have increased.

■ Reaper

Developer's Comments:
Internal data showed that Reaper had a low win rate and low boss damage in small-scale PvP content.
High-scoring adventurers were also not going out of their way to select this class.

[Soul Reaver] is the main skill responsible for Reaper's damage, and requires 3 Shards of Darkness. Shards of Darkness are not easy to generate and it can be frustrating when this isn't used effectively.

So in this update, we have improved it so that [Soul Reaver] can be used right after Evasion,
and make Shards of Darkness generate more quickly upon using [Grim Reaper].

We've added Super Armor to [Rift Slicer] and improved damage by adding [Flow: Reaper's Call].

Finally, we improved the PvP damage of [Soul Spike].
By increasing her damage across other skills, we hope this will allow for more varied attack patterns.

- Improved so that [Soul Reaver] links with Evasion.


▷ Rift Slicer
- Super Armor (Not applied in Arena) has been added.
- Knockdown has been added on hit.
[Intensify: Increase No. of Hits] has changed to [Flow: Reaper's Call].
 
[Flow: Reaper's Call]
- Applies the same damage as [Rift Slicer].
- Max 8 Hits
- Super Armor (Not applied in Arena)
- Knockdown on hit



▷ Soul Spike
Skill's PvP damage has increased.
PvP 
Lv 1: 234.13% x 7 → 283.14% x 7  
Lv 10: 295.11% x 7 → 368.08% x 7 


▷ Grim Reaper
- "Creates Shard of Darkness x5" has been added.


Developer's Comment:
Although Mystic and Grandmaster have high win rates in small scale PvP content, they lack power in large scale fights like RvR.

[Knee Hammer] and [Knee Thrust] both allow the user to assess enemy movement before choosing to maintain Super Armor or to follow up with an attack.
On top of this flexibility, the cooldowns for these skills are only 5 seconds, which made it a skill without weakness if chained well with other Super Armor effects. That is why we adjusted the additional attack time frame of [Knee Hammer] and [Knee Thrust] to increase the risk of using it.

We also improved the damage output and mobility of these classes in RvR.
We enhanced the "Increase Skill Damage" effect of the passive skill [Perseverance] to strengthen overall damage, and improved certain skills to be able to start running right after use.


■ Mystic

▷ Fury Dive
- Increased Cooldown by 1 second. (7 sec → 8 sec)  
- Added 1 hit to the final attack.
- Changed skill description.
PvE 
Lv 1: 525% x 4 → 525% Max 5 hits
Lv 10: 682.5% x 4 → 682.5% Max 5 hits

  
PvP 
Lv 1: 420% x 4 → 420% Max 5 hits
Lv 10: 546% x 4 → 546% Max 5 hits




▷ Knee Thrust
- Decreased the time frame for an additional attack.
- Improved so that the character can transition into running after the skill more smoothly.



▷ Torpedo
- Added "Super Armor while using the skill." (Not applied to Arena)
- Improved so that the character can transition into running after the skill more smoothly.



▷ Somersault Kick
- Improved so that the character can transition into running after the skill more smoothly.



▷ Perseverance
- Increased skill damage boost by 5%. (35% → 40%)


■ Grandmaster

▷ Knee Hammer

- Decreased the time frame for additional attack.
- Improved so that the character can transition into running after the skill more smoothly.




▷ Spiral Cannon
- Added "Super Armor while using the skill." (Not applied to Arena)
- Improved so that the character can transition into running after the skill more smoothly.



▷ Gale Force
- Improved so that the character can transition into running after the skill more smoothly.



▷ Perseverance
- Increased skill damage boost by 5%. (35% → 40%)


■ Eclipse

Developer's Comment:
Eclipse is the class with the highest win rate in small scale PvP content, according to our internal data.

She can utilize the "Cooldown Reduction on Hit" effect of [Royal Fencing: Lunge] to
use the skill 3 times in rapid succession, dealing huge burst damage.

Also, the skill effect [Flow: Enhancement] reduces the cooldown of [Meteor Fleche] on hit, allowing Eclipse to maintain Super Armor throughout her combos.

Through this update we've adjusted the above while making sure to not drastically weaken her offensive and defensive capabilities.
We first decreased the amount of cooldown reduction on hit from [Royal Fencing: Lunge] to tune down her burst damage, but also decreased the base cooldown of the skill to allow Eclipse to maintain her speedy playstyle.

Furthermore, [Meteor Fleche] will no longer have "Cooldown Reduction on Hit," so that the skill will have a higher risk.
To make up for this change, we added grab immunity during the skill so that she doesn't get shut down by the enemy so easily, and increased the duration of evasion status applied from her passive skill.


▷ Royal Fencing: Thrust
- Improved so that [Royal Fencing: Lunge] can be chained more smoothly after the first hit.
- Increased skill attack speed.



▷ Royal Fencing: Lunge
- Decreased the Cooldown by 1 second. (6 sec → 5 sec)  
- Adjusted the value of "Cooldown Reduction on Hit" to 1.5 seconds. (3 sec→ 1.5 sec) 



▷ Meteor Fleche
- Removed "Reduce Cooldown of Meteor Fleche on Hit" from [Flow: Enhancement].
- Changed "Cannot be grabbed while jumping" to "Cannot be grabbed while using the skill."

- Added "Cannot be grabbed while using the skill.



▷ Star Heart
- Increased the duration of "Evasion status applied on next skill" effect from "Star's Breath."


■ Raven

Developer's Comments:
Raven has a high win rate in small scale PvP content.
The uptime of her Super Armor effects were much higher than that of other classes, and her stable performance made it difficult to counterplay.

So we adjusted her stability by removing Super Armor from [Phantom Crash: Shard], but also reduced the Phantom Shard cost to 1.
These changes will allow the skill to be more effective in RvR content while staying competitive in 1v1 content.


▷ Phantom Crash
[Phantom Crash: Shard]
- Changed "Invincibility while casting" and "Super Armor while attacking" to not apply in the Arena.
- Reduced Phantom Shard cost by 1. (2 shards → 1 shard) 



▷ Implosion
- Improved so that the character can start running after using the skill more smoothly.


■ Paladin

Developer's Comments:
After the recent update, our statistics have shown that Paladin has a very high win rate in small scale PvP content.

Her passive skill [Smite] was designed to help her tank enemy attacks with the effect "Seal", but the additional improvements to the HP recovery effect of "Blessing of Light" allowed her to gain more survivability than intended.

Because of this, Paladin becomes a bigger threat the longer she survives in battle.

This could also lead to strategies where the player could purposefully avoid fights to gain the upper hand.

So we have decided to disable Paladin's HP recovery effect in the Arena.


▷ Smite

- Changed the "HP Recovery" effect to no longer apply in the Arena.


■ Sura
- Changed the description of the last hit of [Shadow Break] to mention "Applies the same follow-up damage as [Shadow Break] on hit."
- ‘Changed the description of the last hit of [Flow: Shadow Fang] of [Afterimage] to mention "Applies the same follow-up damage as [Afterimage] on hit.
 
■ Archmage
- Improved [Meteor Shower], [Frost Pillar], and [Ignite] to be able to attack on the spot when activated by "Rune of Fire/Ice."
 
■ Legatus
- Changed character motion in the Blood Kin menu.

■ Void Knight
- Fixed an issue where [Endless Blitz] and [Cross Slash] would not activate after using [Nightfall].
- Fixed an issue where [Flow: Eradicate] of skill [Eclipse] was dealing more damage on first hit than its description.
- Fixed an issue where [Black Spirit's Rage: Absorb] would sometimes unintentionally activate when briefly tapping [Black Spirit's Rage].



■ Items
- Changed [Glowing Root] to be tradeable on the Market.
- Added a button in the description for [Cursed Pirate Island Pass] that opens "Expedition Gateway: Cursed Pirate Island."
- Added a button in the description for [Tangled Time] that opens "Expedition Gateway: Ancient Ruins."

 

■ UI

- Improved the UI in [Change Character - Preview Gear] to show equipped Crystals, imprinted Memories, and combined Totems in the equipment slots.
- Improved the World Map so that players can check the zone information of Towns such as "Safe Zone" or "Fishing Zone."
- Simplified the effects shown when opening more than 2 chests in the inventory.

■ Quests
- Improved the Auto-Quest feature to pause when accepting a Family Quest during Auto-Quest.

 

■ Backgrounds
- Fixed an issue where certain Path of Glory stages were brightly lit.

■ Atumach
- Changed so that the Griffon in Atumach will stay airborne before landing instead of flying around.

■ UI
- Fixed an issue where blank spaces would sometimes appear when opening "Summon Weapon" and "Use Skill" widget in Siege/Node War.
- Fixed an issue where the resolution of the loading screen for Atumach Skirmish was incorrectly stretched.
- Fixed an issue where already obtained Knowledge were appearing in the "Hadum Knowledge - Unattained" menu.
- Fixed an issue where Elion Knowledge bonuses were being shown in Hadum Knowledge level up notifications.
- Fixed an issue where Black Sun reward notifications would sometimes not appear.


■ System

- Fixed an issue where the horse would be summoned when starting Khan from the World Boss Status Board on the right of the mini-map.
- Fixed an issue where Auto-Combat would turn off when reviving after death while riding a Hwacha.
